My Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Luxe Colour Lasting Lip Lacquer in Red Vixen Review

I just cannot resist telling you how much I LOVE my recent purchase of “Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Luxe Colour Lasting Lip Lacquer in Red Vixen”, it’s quite a mouthful, literally 🙂

This Lip Gloss has helped take me from a Winter to a Spring look and it is most definitely getting me noticed, how fab is that at my age.

You can wear the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Lip Gloss on it’s own directly applied to bare lips, or if you want to enhance your existing lipstick then you can add a coat of the lip gloss to add that touch of sparkle and drama.

Product:  Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Luxe Colour Lasting Lip Lacquer
Shade:  Red Vixen
Purchased from:  Net-A-Porter.com
Price I paid:  £17 ($22 approx.)
My Rating: 10/10

My Product Overview

For me the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Luxe Colour Lasting Lip Lacquer delivers the deep, rich and creamy, glossy, polished look that I want from a Lip Gloss.

My choice of the Red Vixen shade is very much in keeping with my passion for vibrant colours that tend to compliment my skin tone nicely.

But….. to be honest if you want to purchase the Red Vixen colour choice looking to create either a sophisticated, glamorous or fresh for Spring image then this shade will offer all of those for most skin tones.

The packaging is every the inch of Luxury that you would expect from Charlotte Tilbury with her makeup artist background, I feel that this product has been designed knowing that we all like a beautifully slim container that will fit nicely into our handbags what ever the occasion and lets face it we do like to show off our makeup products in the “rest room” whilst powdering our nose 😉

The Lip gloss applicator is just the right size, narrow in width and the optimum length for not getting into a mess whilst delivering the correct amount from the container.  My tip would be to remove the excess at the end of the applicator onto the edge of the container in order not to create too much “over load” on the lips.

If you take a look at Net a Porter and click on “Beauty – Charlotte Tilbury – Lip Lacquer in Red Vixen you will see a little video attached to the product, this will help with your application technique.

As directed by the video, I would outline your lip line starting at the “cupids bow” into the corners of the mouth and along the bottom lip.  once this is complete then fill in the rest of your lips.

A Little About Net-A-Porter.Com

Net-A-Porter is a designer online shopping website, they deliver to many destinations all over the world, I have used them to send presents to family in Australia, they offer free and beautifully stylish packaging with every purchase.

There service is incredibly professional and luxurious no matter how little you spend with them.  I love the Black Boxes with tissue inside and finished off with a gorgeous bow of Black and White hence my reason for choosing my presents from their site 🙂

They have three delivery services to choose from:  Standard – usually within 3 – 5 working days but some times quite a speedy delivery, Nominated Day – again very accurate and Next Business day if you order before a certain time – I have never experienced any problems what so ever.

The word “Designer” can put some people off, as it often equates to “over-priced” but you will be amazed by the leap in quality you can obtain from just a small incremental cost, I don’t spend a fortune on any of my purchases and usually stick to the more commercialised brands such Michael Kors, J Crew and when I really push the boat out, McQueen.

They have an excellent beauty products range to choose from, in my opinion with beauty and makeup you get what you pay for and this adds up to better value for money in the long run.
