Product Overview

I would like to state that views and experiences described in this review are my personal opinions and comments which may differ from those stated by Estée Lauder themselves.

In the past I may have overlooked “Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronised Recovery Complex II”, naively thinking that it is a night serum but how wrong was I.

I was lucky enough to have been given an amazing present by my Husband for Christmas of the gorgeous Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy and Skincare Beauty Case (please refer to my Post on this topic).

the title “Advanced Night Repair” does imply that it may only be used at night but it is not.  The products instructions state that it “may be used morning and night on clean skin”.

This product is a serum, I have applied this by itself in place of a moisturiser or a cream moisturiser on my lazy days but the directions do state that this product is to be used before moisturising.  I

I find that one full dropper is sufficient to cover the face comfortably. I usually apply to the back of my hand and use my ‘ring’ finger to apply under the eye area and work it in.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

At first glance, I would be inclined to describe the serum as a little oily but it is “Oil free” when applied it does not leave any residue on the surface, in fact there does not appear to be anything left on the skin at all other than a lovely smooth finish.

The pale orange shade does not show on the skin either, or mark any clothing which may come into contact with the applied area.

You will find that it covers nicely and with great ease of application to absorb and smooth out those fine lines.

Long Term Use

I have been using Estée Lauder Advanced Night Synchronised Repair Complex II for about eight weeks and I have noticed a difference, my “laughter lines” 😉 do appear to have filled out a little giving way to a smoother finish with my foundation but most of all my skin does feel more hydrated especially around the cheek area.

Clearly, my “lines” are still present and anything other than fillers or surgery is a bonus, lets face it.

I’m not looking for perfection, but I am very grateful, at my age, for a product that gives me self-confidence and great results.

In a nut shell, if you are looking for a smooth texture, a good base prior to makeup application or simply a skincare product that will help to plump out those lines just a little, and that also offers hydration  and leaving the skin looking fresh then the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Complex II will meet your needs and I have no doubt that with prolonged use, will give you even better results.
